We had a great time meeting some of our customers last night at the 1st Laundry Locker customer appreciation party. With tons of food, drinks and a prize drawing, those who attended got a chance to meet the people behind the scenes.

Having worked in the real estate business, I know first hand how valuable time is when balancing work and home life. Between finding new clients, managing existing deals, going to networking events and attending office meetings, there's little time left to deal with laundry.

Well, now the hardworking agents and staff at 1699 Van Ness have access to Laundry Locker in their building. Conveniently located in the company parking lot, the lockers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In terms of Laundry, the South of Market district does not offer a lot of options for its residents. Dore Street, uncommonly known for the "Up Your Alley" fair, which is pretty much the opposite of say, the Union Street festival, has no option for dry cleaning or laundry. Literally, there are no washing machines in the units and no cleaners in the area. This is another one of those no brainers: Laundry Locker + Building = Happy Residents.

On a related note, we don't really clean leather.

Judging from the large size of this building, you wouldn't think it would be hard to find a place for our lockers, but this building has literally no free space. With the help of the fantastic building manager, we worked with the existing space to provide the 150 units access to lockers.

Laundry Locker customers can now enjoy the benefits of On-Demand driving with discounted membership to Zipcar. For only $25/year our customers can be scooting around town at rates as low as $8.75/hour. That includes gas, insurance, parking and up to 180 miles a day!
